Sarah Wiedenheft Joins Anirevo 2018 Guest Lineup!

Sarah Wiedenheft is a North American voice actor most widely known for her role in Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid as the lovable dragon Tohru. Her other roles include cute characters such as Aika Tenkubashi (Gonna be the Twin-Tail!!), Ruby Kurosawa (Love Live! Sunshine!!) and Popuko (Pop Team Epic). She grew up as an anime fan herself and her favourites are Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball, Card Captor Sakura and Inuyasha.

Born in Kyoto, Japan, Satsuki Yukino is a renowned voice actress who has lent her voice to over 150 anime series. She is most well known for her roles as Kagome Higurashi (Inuyasha), Yoruichi Shihōin (Bleach), Kaname Chidori (Full Metal Panic!), Tae Shimura (Gintama), Mutsumi Otohime (Love Hina), Milly Thompson (Trigun), Tamako (RIN-NE), and many more.

Kappei Yamaguchi as Honorary Guest at AniRevo: Summer 2018

Anirevo is thrilled to welcome iconic voice actor Kappei Yamaguchi as a returning guest for Anirevo 2018!

Kappei Yamaguchi is a voice actor born in Fukuoka, Japan. He is known for being the voice behind various popular anime and game characters, such as Usopp (One Piece), Inuyasha (Inuyasha), L (Death Note), Shinichi Kudo & Kaito Kid (Detective Conan), Ranma Saotome (Ranma ½ ), Kuma/Teddie (Persona 4), Sabato Rokudou (RIN-NE) and more.

This year marks Kappei Yamaguchi’s second visit as a guest at Anirevo, with his first appearance being at Anirevo 2013.

Born in Yokohama, Japan, Hitomi Nabatame is a Japanese actress, voice actress and singer. Some of her most notable roles include Nanao Ise (Bleach), Yukiji Katsura (Hayate the Combat Butler), Margery Daw (Shakugan no Shana), Mikoto Suou (School Rumble), Saori Makishima (Oreimo), Bazett Fraga McRemitz (Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya 2wei Herz!), and Rokumon (RIN-NE).

Voice Actor Dean Redman to Attend AniRevo 2013

Actor and voice actor Dean Redman is coming to Anime Revolution 2013! He will be judging the Swimsuit Contest Friday evening & Voice Actor Idol on Saturday, taking part in the Voice Actor Theatre: Script Reading Roulette panel on Sunday, and will also be signing autographs on Saturday and Sunday.

Dean Redman is well known to Anime fans as the voice of Dutch on the popular series Black Lagoon.  He also provides the voice of Nick Fury on Iron Man: Armored Adventures and other Marvel comic series.  

Redman has had roles in many popular films such as:  RoboCop, Godzilla, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, Maximum Conviction, 2012, Rise of the Planet of Apes, TRON: Legacy and The Day the Earth Stood Still.

He is also busy on the small screen with many television roles including appearances on series such as: Arrow, V, Smallville, Sanctuary, Masters of Science Fiction ,The 4400, Blood Ties, Supernatural, The Dead Zone, Blade: The Series and Stargate SG-1.



Voice Actress Chantal Strand to Judge in AR Idols

Voice Actress Chantal Strand is coming to Anime Revolution 2013 for Sunday only! She will help out judge the Anime Revolution Idol finals, and will also be doing autograph sessions.

Chantal Strand is a Canadian actor, singer, and writer based in Vancouver, BC. Breaking into the business at a young age, she started off doing stunts on Look Who’s Talking Now. She is most well known for her various voice over roles in such popular cartoon shows as Dragon Tales, Hamtaro, Gundam Seed, and Sabrina: the Animated Series, in which she played the characters of Gem, Pi, and Bernard.

Chantal is now currently working on television series including Dinosaur Train and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (as Diamond Tiara.) Moving into principle and leading roles, Chantal worked on projects including The Outer Limits, The Commish, and Air Bud.




Japanese Voice Actor Kappei Yamaguchi Comes to Anime Revolution 2013

Anime Revolution welcomes the ever-popular Japanese voice actor Kappei Yamaguchi as an official Guest of Honor. On August 16-18, 2013 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, fans will be able to interact with Mr. Yamaguchi during panels and obtain autographs personally from him.

Mr. Yamaguchi’s versatile voice can be heard voicing many leading characters in a number of top ranking anime titles such as: Usopp from the number one shounen series in Japan: One Piece, Shinichi Kudo and Kaito Kid from the forever continuing series Detective Conan/Case Closed, L from Death Note, Teddie/Kuma in Persona 4, Inuyasha from Inuyasha, Ranma Saotome from Ranma ½, Raimon “Monta” Taro in Eyeshield 21, and Ryuichi Sakuma in Gravitation, to name a few.

Other popular titles where Mr.Yamaguchi lent his voice include: Miracle Girls, Pokemon, Digimon Adventures, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu Yu Hakusho, Beyblade, Kindaichi Case Files, and much more. He is also known as the Japanese voice of Kyle Broflovski, Bugs Bunny and Crash Bandicoot.

Voice of Japanese Tuxedo Mask, Toru Furuya, Comes to Canada!

Anime Revolution welcomes veteran Japanese voice actor Toru Furuya as an official Guest of Honour. Mr. Furuya will be interacting with fans during panels and autograph sessions at the anime convention which is held in August 16-18, 2013 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.

As a seasoned voice actor, Mr. Furuya participated in numerous popular anime series. Fans may recognize his distinctive voice behind famous lead characters such as: Mamoru Chiba and Tuxedo Mask from the ever so classic Sailor Moon series, Yamcha from the all time favorite Dragon Ball series and movies, Amuro Ray from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series and movies, Pegasus Seiya from Saint Seiya, Suppaman in Dr. Slump, and Mario in various Mario video games.

Mr. Furuya’s voice can also be heard in many well-known anime titles such as One Piece, Pokemon, Gintama, Bleach, GTO, Casshern, Detective Conan / Case Closed, Inuyasha, Marmalade Boy, and many more.
