Minami Kuribayashi is a Japanese singer, songwriter, and lyricist, often referred to as a “goddess of anisong.” She made her initial debut in 2001 with “Rumbling hearts”, the opening song for the PC game Kimi ga Nozomu Eien. Her career as an anisong singer came when she released “Precious Memories” as the opening song for the Kimi ga Nozomu Eien anime adaptation.

Since the early 2000s, Minami Kuribayashi has continued to sing for various anime and video games, showcasing her talent by not only singing, but composing and writing lyrics for many of her releases.

2023 marked Kuribayashi’s 20 year anniversary as an anisong singer, and she embarked on a 3-month tour in all 47 prefectures in Japan. She continues to perform overseas as well.
