Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Ian was a performer from an early age, rattling off cartoon and movie quotes much to the delight of his friends and the confusion of his parents. After studying Drama at Bishop’s University in Lennoxville, Quebec, Ian relocated to Vancouver, where he has since established himself as one of Canada’s most in demand Voice Actors.

He can currently be heard on Netflix’s Sonic Prime as Shadow the Hedgehog and Big the Cat, Netflix’s Angry Birds: Summer Madness as Red & Neiderflyer, as well as WildBrain’s Strawberry Shortcake as the Peculiar Purple Pieman. Other prominent roles include Owen Grady in LEGO: Jurassic World, Thor in Marvel Battleworld, Mr. Magoo in Mr. Magoo, Sunburst in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Fireman/Airman/ManMan in Mega Man: Fully Charged, Larry Parker in Far Cry 5, and various roles in World Trigger, Ninjago, Beyblade Burst, Dragalia Lost, Zoids Wild and many others.
