To the Anirevo community,

In light of current public health orders and with BC’s current projection for its immunization schedule, our Board of Directors has come to the difficult decision to cancel Anirevo: Summer 2021, originally scheduled for July 30th to August 1st, 2021.

Anirevo: Summer 2022 is scheduled for July 29th to 31st, 2022.

All pre-purchased tickets will once again automatically be forwarded to Anirevo: Summer 2022. 2021 ticket holders will not have to take any action. Your 2021 registration can be used for 2022.

Exhibitors (vendors and artists) who have forwarded their booths to 2021 will also have their spots rolled over to 2022. Further action is not necessary.

With BC’s current immunization schedule, most adults will have received their first COVID-19 vaccine dose by July 2021. However, with the extension of the period between vaccine doses to 4 months and the current rise in cases, we feel that our previously scheduled dates in July to August would not be a time when our community could gather safely. We truly want Anirevo to be a safe, fun, and comfortable experience for everyone.

While it is still a long ways ahead, we are optimistic that we will once again be able to gather, in person, and share our passion for anime, cosplay, and Japanese popular culture next year.

In the meantime, please continue to stay safe and healthy; we hope you are able to join us in 2022, which marks Anirevo’s tenth anniversary since our first convention in 2012! Your continued support means the world to us, and we sincerely want to thank each and every one of you.
