Dear Anirevo community,
Thank you for your patience during this very uncertain and stressful time. We hope that you and all of your loved ones are doing well and are continuing to stay safe and healthy.
With great sadness, we are writing to announce the cancellation of Anirevo: Summer 2020, originally scheduled for July 31st to August 2nd, 2020. We are working with the Vancouver Convention Centre for 2021 dates and will have them confirmed no later than May 15th, 2020. Anirevo 2021 will be held on July 30th to August 1st, 2021 at the Vancouver Convention Centre, West Building.

Your health and safety is of the utmost importance to us. We have been constantly monitoring the situation in hopes for a more positive outcome by the beginning of summer (perhaps a little bit too optimistically). We hoped that we could deliver a safe and amazing convention for all the fans, and apologize that we will be unable to do so this year.
We hope that aligning with the recent announcement made by Premier John Horgan as BC undergoes their Restart Plan, that we can help slow the spread of COVID-19, hopefully we can all return back to our regular lives as soon as possible.
We are grateful for your ongoing support. As we approach our 10th year, our team strives to plan an anime event that will be truly representative of our appreciation. We thank you for your continued patience and understanding as we all navigate through this together. We wish to thank all the volunteers, staff, fans, sponsors, artists, vendors, panelists, guests, and partners that have worked with us thus far. We have grown so much through the support, love, dedication, and passion from each and every one of you! We really, truly, honestly cannot thank you all enough.
In the meantime, please continue to stay safe and healthy — we hope you are able to join us in 2021 for our 10th year!

Frequently Asked Questions
What happens to my current 2020 pass?
All pre-purchased tickets will automatically be forwarded to Anirevo Summer 2021. Current ticket holders will not have to take any action. Your 2020 registration can be used for 2021.
For every attendee that is able to transfer their ticket to 2021, we would like to show our appreciation by offering you a coupon valued at $5, $10, or $15 (one per registration). Eligible recipients will be contacted with additional instructions in June. The coupon amount will be based on the price tier that the ticket was purchased. This coupon will be emailed to the master account holder and will only be valid towards general admission into any future Anirevo events. The terms and conditions of the coupon are as follows:
-no cash value
-no expiration
-non-transferable
Can I still refund my pass?
We ask attendees to consider allowing your registrations to roll over in order to keep our convention financially sustainable. However, we will honour any refund requests submitted to us by using THIS FORM by November 1, 2020. Any requests submitted after this date cannot be accepted and will automatically roll over to Anirevo 2021
What happens to my current Exhibitor registration (Artists & Vendors)?
All confirmed Artists and Vendors will be automatically forwarded to Anirevo Summer 2021– no action is needed. Your 2020 registration will be used for 2021.
For Artists or Vendors that wish to refund their purchases, please fill out THIS FORM until November 1, 2020*. After this deadline, our normal refund policy will be in effect.
Waitlisted artists will be reset and can apply after October 1st 2020 using this form HERE.
*Please note that transaction fees from third party are not refundable.
Have you booked a hotel accommodation?
If you have booked a hotel stay with our PARTNER hotels, Holiday Inn Downtown or Sandman Hotel Vancouver City Centre using our custom link, cancellation will be processed automatically within the next several days. You will NOT need to contact the hotel. You will receive notification by email as soon as they process your cancellation.
If you have booked at any NON PARTNER hotels, airlines, or mode of transportation(s). Please contact them directly to cancel.
Have you submitted content for Anirevo 2020 Programming?
Participants/submissions for Anirevo2020 programming, such as panelists, performers, contestants, will be contacted in the upcoming weeks by our team regarding the status of their panel/submission.
